A leading asset management firm in Paris is seeking an experienced professional for internal control and compliance. You will be responsible for supervising processes and ensuring adherence to regulations while collaborating with teams and managing incidents. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience in a management company or consultancy. Excellent English and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in internal control and compliance in asset management or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (AMF).
  • Very good level of English for communication and documentation.

  • Supervise internal processes and compliance with regulations.

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and monitor regulatory compliance.

Description du poste

In charge of internal control and compliance, you will participate and assist the RCCI in the following tasks, in collaboration with a Senior Compliance Officer and under the responsibility of the CICO :

  • Ongoing supervision of SCOR Investment Partners to ensure efficient processes and compliance with regulatory and professional obligations,
  • Incident management (analysis, resolution, corrective actions, monitoring),
  • Ad-hoc projects to review a specific process,
  • Implementation and monitoring of regulatory projects,
  • Optimization of the control system.

With good interpersonal skills, you will be required to regularly interact with all teams of the management company and external service providers as part of your duties.

Under the supervision of the RCCI, you will be responsible for permanent controls, sharing tasks with another team member.

Your main responsibilities will be to participate to :
  • Controlling internal processes and procedures and ensuring their correct application,
  • Monitoring compliance with current laws and regulations,
  • Ensuring the compliance of new products and activities,
  • Controlling measures against money laundering and the financing of terrorism,
  • Monitoring employee ethics,
  • Analazing operational incidents and proposing remediations,
  • Conducting ad hoc monitoring missions.

You will be required to carry out and formalize 2nd level permanent controls to ensure that the management company operates in accordance with current regulations and that its managers and employees comply with internal procedures.

Required experience & competencies
  • 3 to 5 years maximum of experience years in internal control and / or compliance ideally in a diversified management company to have a global view of the different asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Structured Products, etc.) and to master the management processes but also the issues specific to the business. Or experience as a consultant in a consulting firm specializing in control and compliance topics in asset management. Or in the audit of investment funds or worked for a regulator such as the AMF.
