Job summary

Airbus SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Commodity Buyer to join Engineering Procurement. You will manage end-to-end tenders and procurement projects across multiple divisions, maintain supplier relationships, and drive value with sourcing strategies.

You will lead cross-functional teams, contribute to supplier development, and ensure compliance with contractual and performance expectations. Fluency in English and French is required; a strong engineering or procurement background is

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Solid experience in Procurement or Engineering with strong negotiation skills.
• Financial acumen to build business cases, challenge supplier cost structures and track KPIs.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects across multi-cultural and multi-divisional teams.
• Fluency in English and French (both oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end calls for tenders and procurement projects with a multi-divisional and trans-national scope.
• Maintain supplier relationships and perform Contract Review Meetings (CRM) to assess performance and mitigate risks.
• Lead the Sub-MDT (Multi-Functional Team) for Systems across Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopters to ensure operational follow-up.
• Deliver value and drive synergies by translating business needs into efficient sourcing strategies and cost structures.
• Contribute to supplier development in terms of innovation, digitalization (DDMS), and sustainability.
