A leading cloud service provider in Lyon is looking for a Cloud Product Engineer to design and develop core infrastructure products. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative international team, focusing on IaaS and PaaS components. Key responsibilities include adding features to cloud products, improving code maintainability, and writing technical documentation. A strong background in programming (preferably Golang, Rust, or Python) and familiarity with Kubernetes is required. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new IaaS/PaaS products from scratch.
• Add new features to existing cloud products.
• Improve testing coverage and resilience of codebase.
• Write technical documentation for product usage and APIs.
• Participate in operational run rotations and handle incident resolution.

Connaissances

Proficient in at least one programming language (Golang, Rust, or Python)

Solid understanding of Linux and server administration

Good knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems

Experience with git-based workflows

Familiarity with API design and microservices architecture
