SeqOne is seeking a DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer to ensure platform reliability and automate deployment for genomics products. You will work with the Technology Services team to keep IT platforms secure, available, and cost-efficient.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab, and scripting (Python/Go), plus strong collaboration with engineering teams. Hybrid work options include Montpellier, Paris or Cambridge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working experience as a DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer or in system administration
• Engineering degree preferred
• Working knowledge of English (engineering language)
• Collaborative approach with clear communication across teams

• Monitor cloud or on‑premise platforms to guarantee availability and security
• Design, develop and automate infrastructure and deployment tooling
• Implement monitoring, alerts, and incident handling
• Optimize infrastructure costs and collaborate with vendors

Description du poste

Ensure the operational continuity, security, and evolution of the IT platforms and systems that support SeqOne's internal and external solutions. As part of the Technology Services team, you will design, maintain, and automate the infrastructure and deployment processes our genomics products run on — keeping them available, secure, and cost-efficient.

Vos missions

Platform Operations & Reliability

• Monitor the operation of SeqOne's IT platforms and systems, hosted in the cloud or at customer premises, in coordination with Engineering and Business teams, to guarantee application availability and security.
• Implement availability and performance indicators, handle alerts, and resolve incidents.
• Address recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve operations and strengthen platform stability.
• Collaborate with external vendors to resolve issues and improve infrastructure performance.

Infrastructure Engineering & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure and tooling required to deploy and operate internal and external applications.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management processes.
• Monitor and contribute to the optimization of infrastructure costs.

Security & Compliance

• Keep IT platforms and systems operational and compliant with security standards such as ISO 27001 and HDS.
• Execute security controls and regular checks to ensure continuous compliance.
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the ISMS (Information Security Management System) documentation and procedures.

Support & Collaboration

• Work with Engineering and Business teams to understand their infrastructure and deployment needs.
• Provide support to all SeqOne teams on matters related to IT platforms and systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions that increase the efficiency of other internal teams.

Vos compétences

• Working experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Working experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management, such as Terraform.
• Working experience with containerization and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
• Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Go).
• Working experience with code management and software deployment solutions, such as GitLab.

Profile

• At least 3 years of working experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer, or in system administration.
• An engineering degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of English (our day-to-day engineering language).
• A collaborative approach: clear communication with team members and stakeholders across teams and dependencies.

Nice to Have

• Experience operating in a regulated environment (ISO 27001, HDS, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Knowledge of on-premises Kubernetes stacks, such as RKE2.
