Job summary

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is seeking a Cloud DevOps Developer for its Platform & UX operations team. The role focuses on automating deployment and management of Rainbow cloud architectures, with emphasis on Ansible, Terraform and Python.

You will also develop tests, benchmarks and deployment documentation to support scalable, highly available services. Ideal candidates have strong CI/CD experience, solid GNU/Linux/networking skills, and familiarity with VoIP.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of GNU/Linux systems and networking.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Python and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP) is a plus.
• Ability to write technical documentation and tests.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment of Rainbow cloud architecture using Ansible, Terraform, Python or Bash.
• Create tests including static coverage, non-regression and chaos tests.
• Run benchmarks and build deployment charts.
• Write documentation to assist third parties in deployment and operation.
• Act as architect for future cloud challenges and cover on-call periods.
