Planet Pharma is seeking a Freelance Mobile Research Nurse to conduct home visits for an ongoing clinical trial in France. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and requires visiting patients at home over a roughly 20-month study period, with visits planned at multiple days and times.

The nurse will perform study-related procedures, record ECGs, and manage Port-a-Cath devices, while maintaining rigorous documentation and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with post-qualification experience.
• Previous clinical research experience is highly valued.
• Up-to-date GCP certification (or ready to complete quickly).
• Appropriate immunisations for clinical work.

Responsabilités

• Visit patients in their homes and carry out study-related procedures.

• Cannulation and access Port-a-Cath devices as required.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.

We’re on the lookout for experienced freelance nurses to support an ongoing clinical study, delivering care directly in patients’ homes. This is a part-time, flexible role that fits perfectly around your existing commitments/ job.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Mobile Research Nurse, you’ll bring clinical trials to life in a community setting. You’ll visit patients in their homes and carry out study-related procedures with professionalism and care.

Each patient will require a series of scheduled visits (Days 4, 7, 11, 14, and 18), with each visit lasting around 2 hours. The study itself will run for approximately 20 months, offering consistent opportunities over time.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Conducting structured home visits for patients recovering from acute ischaemic stroke
• Carrying out clinical procedures such as:
• Recording ECGs
• Cannulation
• Accessing and managing Port-a-Cath devices
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
• Keeping in touch with the study team as needed
• Delivering a high standard of patient-focused care at every visit
