European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN) seeks a Project Manager to coordinate multinational clinical studies from its Paris headquarters. The role focuses on becoming the main contact for non-ECRIN member countries and providing expert support to investigators and sponsors.

The post offers a twelve-month contract with potential renewal, with a possibility of part-time arrangements. Salary follows European/international standards and depends on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

About ECRIN:

ECRIN is a non-profit, distributed infrastructure with the legal status of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), obtained in 2013.

ECRIN provides support to the management (sponsor tasks) of multinational clinical research projects in Europe. ECRIN federates national networks of clinical research infrastructures (clinical trial units) having the capacity to manage trials locally and to provide services (regulatory and ethical submission, monitoring, project management, vigilance, ...). The ECRIN core team is based in Paris (headquarters), and local experts (European Correspondents) are in each Member and Observer country across Europe.

ECRIN provides information and services to sponsors and/or investigators for the preparation and the conduct of multinational clinical studies, in any disease area.

Most of the ECRIN-supported projects are funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe (HE) Programme or the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).

About the Position:

The post-holder will be offered an initial twelve-month contract with the possibility of renewal.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual who wishes to further develop his/her career in clinical research and multinational research projects. The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the coordination of activities within ECRIN supported clinical studies, in order to facilitate participation in European multinational collaborations.

Main Responsibilities:

The main duties of the ECRIN Project Manager will include the following:

Acting as the key contact point for ECRIN in non-ECRIN member countries.

Providing advice and support to investigators and sponsors wishing to develop European multinational studies through ECRIN.

Coordination of ECRIN clinical projects carried out in non-ECRIN countries and the provision of ECRIN services (regulatory and ethical submission, monitoring, project management, …) in a timely manner, as appropriate.

Participating, as part of the ECRIN team, in the development and maintenance of the ECRIN quality management systems and sharing regulatory knowledge to facilitate the activity of the national representatives in the ECRIN activities.

Undertake any ad hoc initiatives as required by the ECRIN-ERIC headquarters.

Requirements:

University degree in Health or Life Science.

Multinational clinical research experience.

Strong knowledge of the clinical development process, GCP, and local and international regulatory requirements.

Desirable complementary knowledge of experimental design, statistics and data management.

Good organisational skills demonstrated by a proven ability to manage a range of different projects simultaneously, and a problem-solving mindset.

Ability to interact positively with a wide range of professionals, including senior staff, across different organisations, as well as clinical research staff and regulatory authorities. Ability to participate constructively and enthusiastically in meetings and decision-making processes and to use own initiative, as appropriate.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Excellent written and spoken English (working language).

The post is under the hierarchical responsibility of ECRIN’s Head of Clinical Operations. The Project Manager shall work in close collaboration with the ECRIN team (core team in Paris and European Correspondents based in country).

Place of employment

ECRIN headquarters in Paris, France, with travel within Europe.

The post is a full-time twelve-month contract (CDD) according to French law with the possibility of renewal . We can consider applications for part-time employment. The salary is set according to European/international standards for similar positions and will depend on qualifications and experience.
