Siemens Healthineers' Varian division (a Siemens Healthineers Company) seeks a Clinical Science Liaison/Clinical Application Specialist to support France within the Medical Affairs department. The role is 100% field-based with regular travel across France and EU.

You will train physicians and hospital staff on IO product use, prepare case documentation, and collaborate with CSLs, sales, and logistics to ensure availability of required components. Fluent French and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in life science industry-based medical support roles.
• Clinical background in IR/CT, OR nursing or surgical technician preferred.
• Experience with IR suite, OR protocol and sterile technique.
• Fluency in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Provide case support in France within the VIO portfolio.
• Train and educate physicians and hospital staff on IO products.
• Provide on-site clinical support during procedures with a hands-off approach to patient contact.
• Collaborate with CSLs, Sales, and Logistics to ensure product availability.
• Submit case support documents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training when needed.
• Participate in seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
• Provide demo support for regional and national events.
• Work with Medical Affairs, Medical Information and Medical Science Liaisons on assigned projects.
• Share competitive product performance information with HQ teams.
• Collaborate with CSL, Medical, and Commercial teams.

Clinical application specialist/Clinical Science Liaison – France Varian (a Siemens Healthineers Company) is seeking to hire a Clinical Science Liaison (CSL)/clinical application specialist in the Medical Affairs Department of the Varian Interventional Oncology (VIO) business unit. Due to increasing needs across France and the European Union (EU), we are seeking a highly experienced professional to provide case support primarily in France. The role will require regular travel throughout the assigned territory and will be 100% field based.

Role Responsibilities

• General Provides case support primarily in the France
• Is knowledgeable of all products in the VIO portfolio
• Working with the CSL team, the sales team and company logistics, ensure product/s and ancillary components are available for each case
• Work closely with other CSLs to provide support for cases out of the managed territory if required
• Submits case support documents in a timely manner
• Trains and educates physicians and hospital staff on use of IO products
• Provide on-site clinical support during procedures while maintaining a "hands off" posture in relation to direct patient contact
• Interacts with customers and functional organizations to determine their training needs and uses engineering documentation such as Operators Manuals and DFUs to develop content of courses
• May coordinate or lead customer and/or employee training
• May also conduct large group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows
• May also provide demo support to local, regional and national customer trade events
• Collaborate with the IO Medical Affairs and Cross-Functional Teams
• Assists Medical Education, Medical Information, and Medical Science Liaisons with assigned projects
• Provides competitive product performance information to headquarters marketing or engineering groups
• Works collaboratively with the CSL, the broader Medical, and the Commercial teams

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in life science industry-based medical support roles
• Clinical Background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse or Surgical Technician preferred
• Experience/Knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol and Sterile Technique
• Knowledge of national / regional regulations and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals
• Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated, autonomous and accountable
• Ability to address, communicate and implement changes quickly and effectively
• Broad experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective way
• Fluency in French and English

Preferably located in Paris or around it.
