JOB PURPOSE

The Client Advisor builds relationships with Burberry’s new and existing clients, delivering a personalized and elevated experience with commercial success.

Reporting to the store management, the Client Advisor will inspire our clients by conveying passion for the brand, fashion and luxury products.

As an expert in client engagement and service, the Client Advisor demonstrates a high level of knowledge in styling and selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales and other commercial KPIs.
  • Inspire clients through storytelling and passion for the brand, creating desire and love for Burberry with every interaction.
  • Provide luxury service, demonstrating knowledge and expertise in product, fashion, and styling.
  • Follow the client journey to elevate the client experience:
    • Ensure a great initial impression.
    • Discover your client.
    • Be a product and styling expert.
    • Close the sale while maintaining the client relationship.
    • Be efficient in following up and delivering after-sales services to clients.
  • Contribute to daily store operations by maintaining high luxury standards both front and back of house, including:
    • Appropriate levels of product and replenishment.
    • Support with inventory management.
    • Assist with markdowns and stockroom maintenance when required.
  • Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Use visual techniques to maintain visual standards according to Burberry guidelines.
  • Foster teamwork and a positive work climate.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Work by appointment to provide personalized service and build client relationships, promoting loyalty and incremental purchases.
  • Capture new luxury clients to grow the individual and store client book with a commercial objective mindset.
  • Regularly contacting clients.
  • Following up appropriately on sales or client requests.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service.
  • Skilled in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of emotional intelligence when dealing with diverse clients and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using POS systems, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
