A prestigious industrial partnership is seeking a motivated PhD student to undertake a CIFRE Doctoral contract focused on the numerical exploration of hybrid porous materials for H2/CH4 separation. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in theoretical physical chemistry or related fields and experience in forcefield-based simulations. This position is based in Montpellier, France.

Qualifications

• Master's degree student with a focus on theoretical physical chemistry or related fields.
• Experience in forcefield-based simulations is required.
• Knowledge of Monte Carlo or Molecular Dynamics methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Conduct a PhD thesis on hybrid porous materials.
• Numerically explore materials for H2/CH4 separation.

The Charles Gerhardt Insitute of Montpellier (ICGM ) is looking for a future PhD student to complete a thesis, funded by Total Energies , an industrial member of MaTerRE, on the numerical exploration of hybrid porous materials & their composites for H2/CH4 separation.

Profile sought: master degree student in theoretical physical chemistry/chemical physics, statistical physics and in forcefield-based simulations including Monte Carlo or/and Molecular Dynamics applied to porous materials and eventually composites.
