Qualifications

  • 10 à 15 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie aéronautique.

  • Maîtrise de l'anglais, le français ou l'allemand ou l'espagnol est un atout.

A vacancy for a Tiger Chief Engineering (m / f)

Tiger MKIII is the next extensive upgrade of Tiger attack helicopter. The whole integrated avionics system, the mission system and the armament will be fully renovated with state‑of‑the‑art technology to allow Tiger to fulfill the needs of French and Spanish Armies up to the year 2050.

You are a Technical Project Manager with a successful 10 to 15 years of experience in the aeronautical industry.

You will belong to Tiger Chief Engineering organization and within Tiger MKIII Vehicle and integration organization (so‑called MAS), you assist the team Leader (so‑called MAS leader) in the overall mastering and synchronization of vehicle and integration activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist MAS leader in mastering and synchronization of all activities concerning the development, certification & qualification of Tiger MKIII Vehicle and integration for all variants (France and Spain).
  • Take responsibility for a sub‑part of the overall perimeter (to be defined with the team leader in accordance with your own experience and competencies) encompassing : airframe, electrical generation, electrical and mechanical installation, fuel, ECS, dynamic systems (AGB transmission), powerplant installation SW adaptation, inboard (ballistic protection) and outboard integration (antennae, weapons, mission equipment (EOS,EWS…)).
  • Responsible and accountable for your perimeter, to deliver activities on time, cost and quality according to backlog, budget and development logic defined and agreed at Tiger MKIII Vehicle and integration MAS level.
  • Define, cascade and refine MAS backlog towards Squads.
  • Align activities with Industry, S&S and Procurement.
  • Provide MAS project follow‑up as well as SQUAD leaders in their own perimeter (technical status, budget, milestones, risks&opportunities, KPI, reporting).
  • Assist MAS leader to build integrated planning, manage contractual commitments, link to GFE suppliers and equipment co‑contractors.
  • Assist MAS leader when needed towards Lead Functions, Tiger MKIII MAS, Program and Program Lead Buyer for equipment and contractual management.
  • Assist MAS leader when needed in his / her relation with Customers and Official Services.
  • Take actively part in MAS animation and routines (within MAS and with other MAS).
  • Ensure synchronization and synergies with Tiger Legacy vehicle activities.
  • Collaborate actively with all other Tiger MKIII MAS Leaders (Avionics, Combat&Awareness, Tests) and MAS members.
Technical Skills
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong vehicle skills (architecture, integration, airframe design, stress, electrical installation).
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems (Fuel, ECS, Electrical generation, integration).
  • General engineering skills (aero, vibrations, thermic).
  • Airworthiness (military) and safety.
  • Knowledge about development and qualification processes.
  • Configuration management principles.
  • Understanding of Industry and S&S.
Soft & Behavioural Skills
  • Leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Autonomy, open‑minded, initiative and team spirit.
  • Analysis and synthesis skills.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Positive attitude, energy, welcome problem attitude.
  • Language: English (negotiation level), French or German or Spanish (valuable).
