Software Heritage is seeking a senior communications leader to design and run the organisation's communications function. You will own the channels end to end—website, blog, newsletter, social, annual report, and video—and translate strategy into concrete outputs.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years in communications within tech, open source, open science, or nonprofit environments.
• Experience owning a communications calendar and multiple channels in a small organisation, with no direct reports.
• Fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
• Strong editorial range across policy, scientific, technical, and general public audiences.
• Experience with print and branded materials from brief to delivery.
• Editorial judgement and consistent voice across formats.

Responsabilités

• Own website content architecture, editorial quality and brand consistency.
• Lead newsletters, blogs, and event communications calendar; manage external contributors.
• Define and execute social media strategy across platforms for international reach.
• Coordinate with Inria and Inria Foundation on joint communications and public affairs.
• Prepare talking points, speeches, and Q&A for CEO engagements.
• Translate technical achievements into funder-facing narratives and policy communications.
• Own EU-funded project communication and dissemination obligations.
• Lead annual report production end-to-end; maintain scalable processes.
