Job summary

Forvia is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Industrialisation Lead to drive the Manufacturing Engineering function at the Villers-la-Montagne site. You will optimize production processes, promote continuous improvement, and support the site's strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Site Deputy Director, you will manage a team, ensure equipment availability, and implement quality assurance practices while developing skills in Lean and industrialization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Production Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering).
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management, product-oriented mindset and development of industrial processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering function at the site to optimize production processes.
• Supervise teams to ensure operational excellence and adherence to quality standards.
• Drive maintenance and industrialization activities across projects.
• Promote cost development optimization and productivity improvements.
• Ensure alignment of industrial strategies at the site level.
• Develop and train operational staff on new processes and enhance team versatility.
• Implement and ensure quality assurance practices (AMDEC/FMEA, surveillance plans, work instructions).
• Ensure activities of support functions meet performance targets of the Quality Management System.
• Lead and mentor Maintenance and Methods/Industrialisation functions.
• Coordinate TVO (Total Value Optimisation) to boost plant competitiveness and value creation.
