Description du poste

Are you passionate about technology and innovation? Do you want to apply your knowledge in a cutting‑edge environment? Join our innovation team developing connected sensors (IoT) for a wide range of applications.

The evolution and emergence of numerous sensor technologies are creating real opportunities to improve energy management, building operations, and equipment maintenance. The accuracy of building control systems and the relevance of predictive maintenance depend on the quality of the data collected and transmitted.

As part of innovative projects in the field of IoT sensors, we are looking for an experienced sensor engineer to join our team.

Your role

You will be responsible for evaluating sensor technologies to meet the diverse needs of our projects. This role involves close interaction with sensor suppliers to understand their roadmaps and influence the development of their future products, work closely with internal clients to understand their use cases and constraints, advise them on the best technological solutions, and support users of the recommended technologies to facilitate the integration of these sensors into final applications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team specialized in the design of smart sensors and contribute throughout the project lifecycle—from early‑stage exploration to co‑design, co‑industrialization, and ongoing maintenance and evolution in coordination with business units.

Your main responsibilities
  • Interact with internal clients to understand their needs, constraints, and use cases.
  • Identify and evaluate sensor technologies that meet project requirements.
  • Develop and apply rigorous methodologies for technology evaluation.
  • Write evaluation and comparison reports on the sensors assessed.
  • Advise internal clients based on evaluation results and market analysis.
  • Maintain a constant technological watch and curiosity for new innovations.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to understand their roadmaps and influence future product development.
Your profile
  • Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in Engineering, Physics, or Electronics.
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of sensors, with expertise in one or more of the following technologies: thermopile, mmWave radar, micro‑bolometer, Time of Flight, gas, temperature, humidity, vibration, etc.
  • Ability to influence product development and advise on emerging technologies.
  • Experience working with suppliers and internal clients.
  • Strong methodology and ability to apply structured processes.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to take a step back.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Curiosity and openness to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.

We recognize that skills come in many forms and can be shaped by life experience. Even if you don’t meet every requirement listed, we encourage you to apply.
