EDF is seeking a CFD Thermal-Hydraulic Studies Engineer located in Le Creusot. You will lead thermofluid analyses for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, building robust models, gathering data with clients, and delivering clear engineering reports.

Proficiency in StarCCM+, Fluent, and OpenFOAM is valued, with strong Linux skills and analytical aptitude. Joining the new CFD team, you will develop methodologies, define models, and contribute to commercial offers while advancing technical solutions

Qualifications

• Experience with CFD software packages (StarCCM+, Fluent, OpenFOAM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge of thermofluid mechanics and modelling.
• Experience with Linux operating systems is required.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to CFD studies and calculations for nuclear and non-nuclear installations.
• Develop analysis methodologies and select models for simulations.
• Collect input data by discussing with clients and prepare engineering reports.
• Run simulations, analyse results, and prepare technical proposals.
• Improve methods and share feedback to inform work programmes.
• Prepare commercial offers and support optimisation of workflows.
