Brown-Forman Corporation is seeking a CCCA Analyst within the Europe GBS structure to manage credit analysis, AR processing, and cash applications for the French, Belgian and Luxembourg territories.

You will work with the CCCA Lead and support AR, credit, and cash application operations, monthly reconciliations, aging and bad debt reporting, and participate in the credit committee meetings. Fluency in French and English and SAP FSCM experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Education: College/University in Finance / Accounting.
  • 2-3 years post-qualified experience in cash applications and credit.
  • Knowledge of cash applications, AR and credit management.
  • SAP experience and FSCM module knowledge.
  • French and English fluent at professional level.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Services, Finance to manage collections and cash application.
  • Daily cash application, clearing and banking operations.
  • Prepare monthly AR reconciliations and aging reports.

Serving as CCCA Analyst within the Europe GBS structure and the French and Belux business unit, the CCCA Analyst is responsible for the Credit Analysis, collection of overdue accounts, payment applications, claims, dispute settlements, and analytical activities with a focus on communicating quantitative and qualitative information in a clear, accurate, and timely manner with a focus on, but not limited to, French and Belux accounts receivable issues.

The owner of this position will work under the European GBS structure, directly working with the CCCA Lead and supporting all French, Belgium and Luxembourg Credit, AR, and Cash application operations.

What You Can Expect:

Analysis of Customer solvency and credit limits review : assign credit limits to New customers and conduct periodic credit review on existing accounts.

Coordinate the process and close cooperation with the Sales Department, Customer Services Department, Finance and Accounting teams regarding collection, claims deduction, cash application to ensure customer payments are collected in a timely manner.

Daily Cash application, clearing, and banking operations.

Manage customer payment remittance process and infrastructure to streamline information sharing and clearing A/R.

Prepare Monthly Accounts Reconciliations related to AR accounts.

Verify and release blocked orders.

Set up and maintain accounts receivable files and other financial records.

Reconcile the customer balance and the credit situation in collaboration with Finance and Sales Force.

Support the CCCA EMEA manager with reporting activities

Support the local Accounting Manager with all AR-related activities

Process the indirect customers' invoices into Coupa before the transition to CCM

Monthly AR reporting (Aging, Bad Debt, Rebates and Deductions reports)

Prepare customer aging report, discounts/deduction report, month-end credit report with comments on past-due invoices and lead the credit committee meetings, perform DSO analysis, recommend provision for bad debt, and accrual for bad debt write-off.

Review new customer creation requests and co-work with the GBS Master Data team to ensure proper data in the system.

Support the statutory audit of the legal entity in all customer and credit requests.

What You Bring to the Table:

Education: College/University (Bachelor's or Equivalent) in Finance / Accounting

Experience: 2-3 years post-qualified experience in a cash applications and credit department

Knowledge of cash applications, accounts receivable and credit management

SAP experience

French and English fluent (professional level)

Working knowledge of SAP’s FSCM module

Working knowledge of MS Office
