Sidel's ECA Supply Chain team in Octeville-sur-Mer, France, is seeking a Category Buyer Maintenance & CAPEX to drive strategic procurement for CAPEX projects and maintenance across five French sites.

You will manage an annual spend of about €18M, build strong supplier partnerships, collaborate with Engineering and Operations, and contribute to cost reduction and digital purchasing initiatives such as SAP Ariba.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect purchasing/procurement, ideally within an international organization.
• Experience in technical purchasing, CAPEX, maintenance or an industrial environment is a strong asset.
• Advanced professional English is essential to operate effectively in a multicultural international environment.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel in France and internationally, approximately 3 days per month.

Responsabilités

• Deploy the Production CAPEX roadmap and support development projects for the Moulding workshops.
• Identify, qualify, select and manage technical suppliers, building sustainable and high-performing value chains.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Technical and Operations teams to ensure purchasing strategies effectively support business and industrial needs.
• Contribute to TLI audits, follow up on action plans and support purchasing activities related to HSE.
• Lead and contribute to cost reduction initiatives and supplier performance improvement programs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local and international suppliers.
• Contribute to the deployment of SAP Ariba and digital purchasing catalogues.
• Work transversally with stakeholders across Sidel’s international and matrix organization.

Join Sidel’s ECA Supply Chain team as a Category Buyer Maintenance & CAPEX, based in Octeville-sur-Mer, France, and play a key role at the heart of an international industrial environment.

In this position, you will manage an annual spend of approximately €18M across Sidel’s five French sites and a portfolio of more than 400 local and international suppliers. Working closely with Engineering, Technical and Operations teams in Octeville, you will build strong, sustainable supplier partnerships while driving purchasing performance and supporting major industrial projects.

Reporting to the Category Manager Indirect & Services, you will have the opportunity to combine strategic sourcing, supplier management and operational proximity in a role with a direct impact on industrial performance and innovation.

Your missions:
