Project Manager
As a European Project Manager, your main task will be to ensure the operational management and monitoring of the CaRMEN FOR TRANSITIONS project. In this capacity, you will support the project coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the project, budgetary and administrative management, and monitoring deliverables and deadlines, to communicate on the project and participate in its dissemination and to liaise with the ANR and the Caisse des Dépôts.
- Project coordination: You will ensure the daily coordination of the project between the different partners (academic and industrial) at the regional level, and ensure the achievement of educational, scientific, technical and administrative objectives.
- Support to the project coordinator: You will work closely with the project coordinator, assisting in the implementation of the overall project strategies. You will support him/her in pedagogical and scientific supervision, major decision-making, and communication with strategic partners.
- Budgetary and administrative management: You will be responsible for the financial management of the project (monitoring budgets, preparation of financial reports, optimisation of resources) in accordance with the rules of the ANR and the USPN.
- Follow‑up of deliverables and deadlines: You will be in charge of planning, monitoring, and ensuring the delivery of the various results expected by the project (scientific, technical, and financial reports) within the allotted time.
- Communication and dissemination: You will participate in the internal and external communication of the project, in the drafting of periodic reports for ANR, as well as in the organisation of events and workshops to promote the results of the project.
- Interface with the ANR: You will be the main point of contact for exchanges with the ANR, including for financial and scientific reports.
- Interface with the other consortium partners, in particular the industrial partners.
- This position involves frequent trips to Île de France and France in the context of seeking new training contracts with companies, project monitoring, meetings with industrial partners.

Qualifications
- Training: You hold a doctorate or an engineering degree in a relevant field (electronics, physics, microelectronic semiconductors, nanotechnologies, photonics, laser engineering).
- Experience in collaborative project management (e.g. ANR projects, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, EIC Pathfinder). Applications without specific experience in project management will be considered if the candidate demonstrates a good knowledge of the environment of higher education and academic research.
- Experience in teaching in the fields of engineering, electronics, physics, optics, or processes, ideally in a clean room environment (an asset).
- Experience in report writing for scientific and educational reporting (an asset).
- Skills: Ability to plan and manage consortia involving academic and industrial actors; Rigor, organisation, and ability to evolve in a multidisciplinary environment; Relational ease, leadership, and ability to listen and work with various partners (academic, industrial, institutional); Heterogeneous group animation; Excellent writing and communication skills (fluency in English appreciated); Knowledge of financing mechanisms (ANR, OPCO, Europe) or strong motivation to acquire this expertise.
