The Cardiac and Vascular Institute of Gainesville, FL seeks a PET/SPECT Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Nuclear Services department. The role performs PET and SPECT procedures, administers radiopharmaceuticals, and provides professional patient care with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, conducting quality control, and ensuring compliance with NRC and state regulations while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current Florida license required or eligible to obtain license.
• Registered ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMTBLS and ACLS preferred.
• One year experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform PET and SPECT imaging procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and confidentiality.
• Maintain equipment quality control and proper documentation.
