Luxoft is seeking an experienced Calypso specialist to join our Treasury team in France. You will own end-to-end Calypso functionality, design, implement, test and support changes, and interact with global project teams to understand business needs and data sources.

The role requires strong Java development skills, XML experience, and a deep understanding of Back Office Calypso customization. A proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to train users are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Calypso implementation or support experience.
• Experience in the financial industry with business analysis and project implementation.
• Proficient in Java and Calypso customization in Back Office.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME for Treasury and ensuring that all functionality of the product are installed and leveraged to its best capability.
• Application designing / development / testing / support / enhancements / bug-fixing.
• Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanisms and data sources.
• Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects.
• End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing team.
• Participate in discussions with business, understand needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
• Creation of test plan, test cases, execution of system testing.
• Contribute to User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations.
• Follow up with vendor support to resolve bugs/issues.
• Ensure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to relevant teams.
• Assist in developing business and operational processes and participate in developing system training artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for Treasury and ensuring that all functionality of the product are installed and leveraged to its best capability
• Application designing / development / testing / support / enhancements / bug-fixing.
• Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams in order to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanism and data sources.
• Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects-Technical Analysis of changes, solution design, development/configuration and unit testing
• End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing team.
• Participate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives
• Creation of test plan, test cases, execution of system testing
• Contribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations
• Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs/issues
• Ensure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the relevant teams
• Assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artefacts when required

SKILLS

Must have

• 5+ years Calypso implementation or support experience
• Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.
• Experience with Calypso's data uploader module
• Knowledge of XML
• Extensive experience working Calypso customizations preferable in Back Office area.
• Knowledge on Calypso Components: Engines, Event Server, Data Server, Transfers, Messages, BOCre, PL Positions, BO Positions, Reporting Framework, Cache, SDI, Product and Trade API , Cash flows, Pricing.
• Customization experience on Message Handlers, Transfer, Custom service creation, Creation of Custom Engine, Customization of Swift Messages, Customization of Scheduled Tasks and other back Office customization. Experience with Calypso cross-asset platform - Calypso Architecture, Modules and Tools. Skilled in developing and maintaining interface designs for applications.
• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and proficiency in object-oriented programming
• Knowledge on Collections API.
• Control structures, access modifier, exception handling.
• Thorough understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
• Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in managing and delivery of trading platforms for Treasury products on a global scale, integrated within the organizations treasury product systems.
