Job summary

ALTEN, a European leader in high-tech engineering and IT consulting, is seeking a C++ Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance software for international clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in CS, 2+ years of C++ experience, modern C++11/14/17/20, STL, and good OOP and design patterns, with fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2+ years of professional C++ development (internships count for junior roles).
• Expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20), STL, templates, and multithreading.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications to define software requirements and architecture.
• Develop high-quality C++ applications following industry best practices.
• Optimize code for performance, memory management, and thread safety.
• Model, design, and implement databases and backend systems.
