Business Strategy Analyst - Permanent - Paris

This year marks 10 years since we launched the idea that simplifying our customers' lives is possible by offering an innovative solution that allows them to easily subscribe to, manage, and switch all types of contracts related to their household. Our services are available across France, Spain and Italy (for the time being !)

To move a step further towards this vision and provide end clients with an increasingly integrated and seamless experience, we recently created a new business unit offering our own services for households. We are looking for a Business Strategy Analyst, joining the new business unit to support its growth by providing financial and business analysis.

In this role, you will play a strategic part in the development of multiple businesses. You will be responsible for the construction of financial models and participate in key initiatives to foster growth and improve business performance. You will join a dynamic and close-knit team at the core of papernest overall growth.

As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will :

• Provide quantitative analyses to steer strategic decisions
• Develop accurate financial models (Business plans, pricing, unit economics, cash flow…)
• Propose concrete, practicable initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive the implementation of the initiatives

About you :

• 0-2 years of experience in an analytical‑heavy role, preferably in Corporate‑Finance (TS, Business modeling/valuation, FP&A, M&A…), Consulting (Strategy, Audit…)
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics
• Excellent business sense and modeling skills (Excel/Sheets)
• High accountability and attention to detail
• Working proficiency in English and French is required, Spanish is a plus
• Understanding of energy retail or consumer insurance markets is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, experience in dashboarding are a plus
