Jobtailor is seeking an Energy Law Counsel in Paris to support bids, draft PPAs, and provide legal guidance on energy contracts. You will collaborate with Business Development and Pre-Construction teams, monitor regulatory developments, and assist senior management on energy-law matters.

Requirements include a Master’s in Energy Law, at least two years’ experience, and professional English proficiency. The role is based in Paris with a focus on complex procurement and compliance tasks.

Responsabilités

• Active participation with Business Development and Pre-Construction in preparing bids for tenders.
• Regulatory monitoring of projects awarded in tenders.
• Negotiation and drafting of PPAs and other contractual documents for electricity production activities.
• Support for operations teams responsible for project grid connections.
• Legal support to internal teams and senior management on energy law matters.
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of EPC, subcontracting contracts.
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of equipment supply contracts (modules, inverters, substations).
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of O&M and maintenance contracts.
• Advising and supporting project teams in disputes and sensitive construction/O&M issues.
• Issuing and reviewing legal and contractual bank guarantees.
• Drafting and distributing energy-law briefing notes in line with developments.

Responsibilities

• Active participation with the Business Development and Pre-Construction teams in preparing bids for tenders
• Regulatory monitoring of projects awarded in tenders
• Negotiation and drafting of various contractual documents related to electricity production activities (Power Purchase Agreements - PPA)
• Support for operations teams responsible for project grid connections
• Legal support to internal teams and senior management on energy law matters
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of the legal aspects of construction contracts (EPC, packages, subcontracting)
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of equipment supply contracts (modules, inverters, delivery substations, transformer stations)
• Negotiation, drafting and monitoring of the legal aspects of maintenance contracts (O&M, monitoring)
• Advising and supporting project teams in the management of disputes and sensitive issues related to construction and O&M (drafting correspondence, formal notices, etc.)
• Participation in issuing and reviewing legal and contractual bank guarantees
• Drafting and distributing thematic briefing notes on energy law in line with current developments
