Orakl Oncology in Villejuif is seeking a Biobank Operations Engineer to ensure the operational execution and integrity of biobank samples. You will manage the traceability chain for samples, maintain quality standards, and support laboratory activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in life sciences and significant laboratory experience. Your role includes receiving samples, maintaining systems, and overseeing compliance with quality procedures. You will directly impact the quality of data produced.
Orakl Oncology develops large cohorts of patient-derived organoids (PDO), from which we generate large volumes of data and train proprietary AI algorithms to help pharma teams develop new treatments for patients.
In practice: we culture ~100 PDOs in parallel at any given time in the lab, screen dozens of drugs weekly and own a growing biobank with an expanding client portfolio.
As Biobank Operations Engineer, you will ensure the operational execution and the integrity of the traceability chain (both physical and informational) for biobank samples, from collection/reception through to release for projects, in compliance with quality and contractual requirements.
You will have a direct and strong impact on the scientific and operational quality of the data we produce. We expect you to work with a high level of autonomy and you will report directly to the Biobank Lead.
