Alan is hiring a Software Engineer to build the backbone of our billing platform in France. You’ll design core billing engines, craft modular primitives, and integrate with payment platforms to move billions of euros accurately.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and operations to scale a high‑volume, reliable system across regions. Fluent English is required; French is a plus, and you’ll work in a flexible office + remote setup.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Experience building scalable, high‑volume billing or financial systems.
• Ability to design modular, reusable architecture and API boundaries.
• Familiarity with payment platforms integration and data quality.

Responsabilités

• Build the core billing engine handling high transaction volumes.
• Design modular billing primitives and abstractions across regions.
• Integrate billing with internal systems and external payment gateways.
• Automate workflows and scheduling for diverse customers.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and auditable for users.
