Riot is hiring a backend engineer in Paris to build scalable learning and security platforms. You will own services end-to-end, collaborate with product and design, and ensure reliability for millions of learners and admins.

We value practical experience with Elixir/Phoenix, PostgreSQL, and SQL, plus a willingness to work with AI tooling to improve development workflows. This is an on-site role with occasional remote days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building backend applications in production.
• Comfortable working with SQL and relational data modeling.
• Motivated to use AI coding tools and modern tooling.

Responsabilités

• Ship and maintain backend features end-to-end.
• Build robust systems serving millions of learners and thousands of admins.
• Organize backend codebase and establish team standards.
• Research, pitch, and prototype solutions to hard problems.
