Veepee, a pioneer of online flash sales, is looking for a software engineer to join the brandsplace team. You will develop new features, design interfaces, and help scale our web services while maintaining code quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development.
• Hands-on with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with cloud programming tools.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
• Experience building APIs.
• Fluent in English.
• Agile mindset and openness to open source contribution.
• Experience coordinating small teams of developers.
• Result- and product-oriented.

Overview

Pioneer of online flash sales since 2001 and a key player in European e-commerce, Veepee collaborates with over 7,000 brands to offer highly discounted products for a limited time. The company operates across fashion, home, wine, travel and beauty, with a turnover of 3.3 billion euros incl. VAT in 2024 and 5,000 staff across 10 countries. We are looking for a software engineer to join the brandsplace team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and redesign existing features of our products.
• Suggest interfaces and other possible improvements.
• Keep the code clean and review team members’ designs as needed.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of developed applications.
• Respect production deadlines.
• Review legacy code to avoid production bugs.
• Write technical documentation.
• Handle technical interviews with other developers wishing to join.

• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB and PostgreSQL).

• Experience coordinating small teams of developers.
