Job summary

ACC is seeking a senior Industrial IoT Platform Lead to design, deploy and evolve our IIoT platform with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure IoT Operations and edge technologies. You will bridge Manufacturing, OT, IT, Cloud and Data teams to enable secure, scalable solutions across ACC plants.

Expect to lead architecture decisions, drive platform adoption, and ensure connectivity and data flows from shopfloor to enterprise systems, supporting the company’s industrial digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Industrial IoT, Edge or related tech.
• Strong Azure IoT, OT-to-Cloud experience.
• Experience deploying IoT platforms in manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of UNS concepts and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for Azure IoT and edge solutions across ACC.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and best practices.

Job description

Lead the design, deployment and evolution of ACC’s Industrial IoT platform, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure IoT Operations and industrial edge technologies.

Act as the technical reference for IIoT solutions, bridging manufacturing, automation, OT, IT, Cloud and Data platforms, and enabling scalable, secure and reusable solutions across ACC plants.

The main missions for this role are

• Technical Leadership
  • Act as the technical lead for Azure IoT and industrial edge solutions across ACC.
  • Define and maintain reference architectures, standards, and best practices.
  • Guide technical decisions on connectivity, data flows, edge computing, and cloud integration.
  • Support complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Platform Delivery
  • Lead deployment and industrialization of IIoT solutions across manufacturing sites.
  • Drive site onboarding, rollout activities, and platform adoption.
  • Coordinate internal teams, integrators, and technology partners.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with ACC architecture principles.
• OT / IT Integration
  • Facilitate integration between industrial equipment, OT systems, MES, and enterprise platforms.
  • Drive standardization of industrial connectivity using technologies such as OPC-UA, MQTT, APIs, and Azure services.
  • Ensure reliable and secure data flows from the shopfloor to enterprise systems.
• Platform Evolution
  • Contribute to the roadmap and continuous improvement of ACC's IIoT platform.
  • Evaluate new technologies and accelerate adoption of Azure IoT capabilities.
  • Promote reusable solutions and industrial best practices across sites.

Knowledge/Know how

• Strong expertise in Industrial IoT, edge computing and industrial connectivity.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure IoT Operations, Azure Arc, Kubernetes, MQTT and OPC UA.
• Experience deploying and operating IoT platforms in manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of OT systems, industrial automation, MES and industrial data flows.
• Knowledge of Azure integration and data platform services.
• Good understanding of Unified Namespace concepts and event-driven industrial architectures.
• Strong solution design, troubleshooting and technical leadership capabilities.
• Ability to bridge Manufacturing, OT, IT, Cloud and Data teams.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in Industrial IoT, Edge, industrial automation or related technologies.”
• Strong background in Azure IoT, industrial connectivity, and OT-to-Cloud architectures.
• Experience working with manufacturing systems, industrial automation, and shopfloor data integration.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives from architecture and deployment through operationalization.
• Experience with Azure IoT Operations, Azure Arc, MQTT, OPC-UA, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is highly valued.
• Knowledge of Unified Namespace (UNS) concepts and modern industrial data architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitOps).

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, IT, or related field
• Certifications in project management or cloud/IoT are a plus
