Exotrail in Massy is seeking an Avionics Team Lead to oversee the Hardware and Embedded Software Engineering teams. You will guide design, validation, and integration of embedded systems that power our products, while aligning with performance, cost and schedule goals.

You will manage the Avionics Engineering Department, drive technical leadership, and collaborate with Systems, Design, Test, and Quality teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions across the product line.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8–12+ years in electronic hardware design or embedded systems, with leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing technical engineering teams in an industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of embedded software architectures; hands-on embedded software is a plus.
• Ability to unite hardware and software teams and drive decisions.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the Avionics Engineering Team; participate in recruiting.
• Define team priorities, ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of activities.
• Act as technical authority for Hardware Engineering and lead design reviews.
• Drive hardware strategy: simulation, automation, and tool standardisation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Systems, Design, Test, Industrialisation and Quality teams.
