Astemo Paris, Drancy is seeking a System Software Test Engineer to define, execute and improve software test strategies for platform and application projects in line with system requirements.

The role involves test reviews, collaboration with design teams, and maintaining V&V documentation per ISO 26262. Candidates should have 5+ years in software testing within automotive or safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing, validation and verification.
• Experience in automotive, embedded systems, or safety-critical environments is preferred.
• Ability to define and execute test strategies and validation plans.

Responsabilités

• Define, write and execute system/software test strategy in line with requirements and specifications for platform and applicative projects.
• In charge of test technical review with design team.
• Cooperation with the design team for software and electromechanical components, with the system design team.
• Contribute to the definition of test validation plan in accordance with our test strategy.
• Contribute to optimizing the validation plan for safety and technical requirements.
• Manage all verification and validation activities in Doors and ensure test cases are defined, reviewed and executed.
• Setup templates to ensure complete test and requirements coverage.
• Document evolutions and technical changes and maintain versioning of V&V docs.
• Ensure completeness and versioning of validation and verification documentation per internal processes and ISO 26262.
