Novonesis in Arpajon, France is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to Capex projects across Europe. You will design, test, and hand over automation solutions and help maintain internal automation standards.

Qualifications

• Education as an Automation Engineer (B.Sc./M.Sc.)
• 4–10 years' experience with ABB 800xA or similar
• Experience with ISA-88 and batch systems preferred
• Main design and development language is English

You will join our automation engineering team, which is a key contributor to all our Capex projects in Europe that keep and expand our capacity and create new production equipment.

We help each other in the team and the projects to create fantastic engagement and great automation solutions.

In this role you will make an impact by:

• Creating automation solutions for our Capex portfolio from ideas through design to execution, test and handover.

• Being a key figure to develop and keep our internal standards for automation solutions in regard to automation architecture, structure and interface to other areas.

• Potentially coordinating other internal or external resources within the project work (vendors & programmers)

• Working closely together with our Automation Project Managers where your focus is on technical solutions and alignment with internal standards.

The Capex projects will be executed mainly in Arpajon, France, but you might also be part of projects in other sites in Europe.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Education as an Automation Engineer (B.Sc./M.Sc.) or similar with experience in process automation solutions/systems.

• Minimum 4 to 10 years' experience within ABB 800xA or similar.

• Experience with ISA-88 and batch systems will be preferred.

• Our main language for design and software development is English.

• Result-oriented and proactive team player with good communication skills.

We work in project teams at site with an option to work from home when this is possible with regard to the tasks.

Short travels must be expected in relation to supervision and test of external equipment and will be approx. 4-5 times a year in Europe
