Jobtailor is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join our advisory practice in Paris. You will perform detailed financial analyses, build models for restructuring and distressed scenarios, and contribute to client-ready insights and recommendations.

Working with senior advisers, you will support data preparation, participate in portfolio advisory projects, and help with market research and pitches.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling.
• Experience in financial advisory, investment banking, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for clear presentations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English and French.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed financial analysis and modeling for restructuring and distressed scenarios.

• Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for clients, summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior team members in client interactions and contribute to the success of advisory engagements.
• Assist in business development initiatives, including pitches, market research, and presentations.

Requirements

• BAC(+5) in finance, accounting, etc.
• At least 1 year of experience (internship, apprenticeship) in financial advisory, investment banking, or a related field.
• Previous experience at a NPL servicer/investor, or at a stakeholder in the NPL field would be an asset.
• A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest and understanding of restructuring, distressed assets, or related finance sectors.
