A leading toy manufacturer is seeking a Social Media Manager to localize and implement strategies for France and Spain. The role involves content management, community engagement, and performance measurement across social media channels. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in social media, be fluent in French and Spanish, and be passionate about digital storytelling. The position is temporary for 8 months with hybrid work options.

Job Description

Join our Global Social Media team and bring your digital expertise to collaborate and contribute to the LEGO Group’s social media activity across France and Spain!

This is a fantastic chance to develop and implement social media strategies and activations that inspire and engage our consumers and fans with authentic, impactful storytelling on our local social media channels.

This is an 8-month temporary contract. No relocation assistance will be provided for this role.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Localise and implement our 2026 Global Social Media strategy for France and Spain, ensuring alignment with local marketing priorities
  • Develop data-led social media plans that drive brand engagement and business growth, supporting both global and local content
  • Identify local trends, cultural moments, and influencer opportunities to keep the LEGO® brand relevant
  • Partner with local management and the media agency to plan and manage 2026 organic content boosting

Content Development & Publishing

  • Manage the local social content calendar and publish across Instagram, Facebook, and other key platforms
  • Partner with the Social Content & Editorial Manager and external agencies to localize and translate social content
  • Co-lead with local Marketing and PR teams to brief agencies and ensure high-quality, on-brand content for local occasions, events, and activations.

Community & Influencer Engagement

  • Collaborate with the Community Management & Moderation team (CMM) for timely, authentic engagement
  • Support issue and crisis response with brand-safe, audience-appropriate communication

Measurement & Optimisation

  • Track and analyze content and channel performance to inform and optimize future plans
  • Leverage social listening to find opportunities and content moments for the French and Spanish markets.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience managing social media strategy and implementation for large, complex consumer organizations
  • Confident working within sophisticated structures and collaborating efficiently with global teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners
  • Fluent in French, Spanish and English
  • Strong understanding of the social media ecosystem, including social listening, analytics, and working with influencers / creators
  • Skilled at crafting engaging, brand-safe social content and building active online communities
  • Passionate about internet culture, trends, and creative storytelling
  • Willingness to travel as required
