Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an Associate Product Owner to contribute to defining and delivering the product roadmap for our Clinical LIMS in Europe. Based in Lyon, France, you will join a globally distributed team supporting the central LIMS across Europe.

You will plan and prioritize the backlog, develop detailed feature specifications, assess value, and align work with the product strategy while removing blockers to meet sprint goals. Strong communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or Trello.
• Knowledge of agile project management.
• Knowledge of Clinical Diagnostics and laboratory processes.
• Ability to report KPIs to program leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
• Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals; Review product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

As an Associate Product Owner, you will be contributing to defining and delivering the product roadmap of our Clinical LIMS.

Where will you be based and what business will you support?

Based in Lyon, France; you will join a globally distributed team in the Clinical LIMS Europe Program, that provides our central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe.

You will:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in product development..
• Working Knowledge of Azure DevOps Services, Trello or JIRA.
• Knowledge of agile methodology for project management.
• Knowledge of Clinical Diagnostics and/or Laboratory processes.
• Understanding of laboratory KPIs; such as Sample turnaround time (TAT):
