Energy Jobline ATTB seeks an Associate Chemist for an on-site position in East Providence, RI. You will support formulation and testing within the chemistry group, maintain lab records, and analyze data to aid product quality and waste reduction.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, or have 3+ years in coatings. Strong communication and Excel/SAP skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related science.
• In lieu of Associates degree, 3+ years' experience in a directly related field, ideally within the coatings industry.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and maintain records, data files, lab notebooks, project files, raw material, equipment, and product information.
• Support formulation and testing for lab project work.
• Develop knowledge of available physical testing equipment for project work.
• Investigate and develop methods and procedures, equipment for application, research, or process control.
• Prepare chemical mixtures following standardized formulas or procedures.
• Document and record test results using software and on paper.
• Generate regular status reports on ongoing projects.
• Analyze test data using various computer software programs.
