Institute of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (I2MC, UMR1297) is made up of 11 research teams and 6 technology platforms, with a total staff of 280 people. Job description

Main mission

The recruited person will be responsible for setting up and developing specific freezing/thawing protocols for human adipose tissue biopsies with a view to establishing cultures for applications in organoids and/or organs‑on‑chip.

Main activities

• Develop, establish, and adapt freezing and thawing protocols for human adipose tissue biopsies.
• Analyze cell viability and functionality.
• Develop organoid and adipose lobule cultures on chip.
• Process and present results.
• Ensure technological monitoring and exchanges with collaborators.

Specificities and work environment

• Work schedule may vary depending on the time of biopsy reception.
• Possible knowledge transfer with collaborating teams (Paris/Nantes).
