Pepr Medooc in Toulouse is seeking an Assistant Engineer in Biological Techniques. In this full-time role, you will develop freezing protocols for human adipose tissue, analyze cell viability, and cultivate organoids.

Institute of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (I2MC, UMR1297) is made up of 11 research teams and 6 technology platforms, with a total staff of 280 people. Scientists and clinicians work on metabolic risk factors (obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia) and their cardiovascular complications (vascular diseases, thrombosis, atherosclerosis, heart failure, and kidney failure).

Main mission
The recruited person will be responsible for setting up and developing specific freezing/thawing protocols for human adipose tissue biopsies with a view to establishing cultures for applications in organoids and/or organs‑on‑chip.
Expérience souhaitée : une expérience professionnelle n’est pas obligatoire mais une formation par alternance par exemple est un plus.
Niveau de diplôme et formation : Diplôme de niveau bac +3 requis.
