The Department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences is seeking to fill a faculty position in the field of Data Science and Analytics. The role will be based in Toulouse and will build on the department’s strong publication record in leading journals such as the Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, Decision Support Systems, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Information Systems Journal, British Journal of Management, Human Resource Management and the European Journal of Operational Research. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Statistics, Econometrics or Data Science (or an equivalent business and management discipline) and demonstrate excellent technical skills and programming expertise in Data Science and Analytics. They should also possess strong teaching abilities and the potential to publish in leading academic journals. Evidence of these qualities may be shown through post‑doctoral experience or previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Statistics, Machine Learning and Econometrics courses in both English and French at undergraduate and graduate levels, and to develop lectures for graduate and Executive Education programmes.
