Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Application Manager for SE (f/m) to join our Information Management (IM) department based in Toulouse, France.

Context

As a Project Manager for SE ( System Engineering), you will join the “MBSE & A/C Integration” Product in the Digital Product for Architecture Service Line, in charge of developing software supporting our business in Engineering, and will functionally report to the Head of Product.
The scope of the organization is to deliver robust set of IS/IT tools for the development of the Aircraft, its industrial set-up and the support and Services part, non-recurring & recurring aspects included.
The organization is established to ensure the development and the support of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions in a context of Airbus Group Process, Method and Tools strategy.

Your Role

• You will act as Application manager of our SE toolset
• You will lead an IT team in a SAFe way of working and act as Product owner deputy (focussing on IT) with close collaboration with our business from Engineering.
• You will work closely with the Business representative and your IT team to identify and define new features, plan the delivery of enhanced services and manage obsolescence roadmap
• You will have a role with end to end responsibility, from capturing the needs to support and maintenance( Run Mode)
• Leading internal and external resources in the classical IT project operations, including enhancements of existing services: projects execution management, enhancement activities & reports, support to migration & handover to Support teams.
• You will ensure the link with other IT/Digital domains with adherence to company’s standards & processes

Your challenges

• Communicate digital roadmap towards business community.
• Produce a report to relevant stakeholders on the progression between planned and realized deliveries.
• Lead platform deployment from an end-to-end perspective fitting with companies requirements, including infrastructure, and network demands, ordering sub-contractors activities
• Support legacy platforms migrations performed by internal and external resources interfacing with relevant stakeholders (Architects, Application owners, Project managers, ITOPs,etc).
• Support SE transformation toward nextGen solution ( AI, Core approach...)

Soft Skills

• You are curious about the new technologies (AI / Agentic AI ) and already use it .
• Autonomous and proactive, you demonstrate leadership skills in an international context.
• Comprehensive understanding of IM architecture especially about the relationships between server, network, client application and database.
• Manage & contribute in the definition / development of the E2E roadmap for our platform.
• Ability to conduct IT project with respect to Airbus standards and processes (EN.IM) and tools (Planisware)
• Ready to overcome technical and environmental challenges and you like working collaboratively in an international context: structured, good organization and prioritization skills, as well as profound communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to target interactions to heterogeneous audiences.
