Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Application Designer and Pre- / Post-Technical Support Specialist to join our Video Systems Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Concept Development – Prepare technical concepts, system designs, and presentation kits for major applications, including benefit analyses and application notes.
- Design tailored solutions for key verticals and large-scale projects across business units, incorporating third-party components within the country (or cluster).
- Sales Support – Assist the Video Systems Sales Team with system design and solution presentations for key system integrators.
- Handle various project phases: system design, customer training, technical support during final installation and commissioning, and post-sales technical reporting.
- Technical preparation and support for events and exhibitions.
- Maintain the operational readiness of the experience center.
- Execute regional and global projects.
- Plan, prepare, and execute proof-of-concept tests across business units.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer – Regularly update key customers on the Video Systems portfolio and new design tools.
- Ensure external target groups reach defined knowledge levels in coordination with CSO requirements.
- Deliver basic and advanced training modules (e.g., webinars, in-person sessions) for external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and report on local training activities and outcomes based on defined KPIs.
- Align training needs, content, and improvements with BU MKK teams.
- Manage training sessions within the LMS (Learning Management System) and coordinate related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the video surveillance domain, ideally with a strong focus on system integration.
- Technical degree in Electronics or Computer Science (minimum Bac+2 or equivalent).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams).
- Hands‑on experience with VMS configuration (Genetec and / or Milestone), computer networking (including cybersecurity and general network setup), and solid working knowledge of SQL databases.
- Strong understanding of video surveillance camera systems, Windows Server environments, and Windows 11 configuration.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Soft skills: curious, independent, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level (CEFR).
- Flexibility to travel.
