Veepee is seeking an Android Developer to join the Core Team in Paris. You will be embedded in a distributed, fully agile team of 6-8 engineers, focused on improving the Android application, building internal tools, and contributing to security, performance, and stability.

The role requires 3+ years in Kotlin/Android, with experience in Coroutines, MVVM/MVI, Compose, REST APIs, and testing. Remote work up to 2 days/week is supported, alongside diverse project scopes and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Kotlin and Android experience.
• Experience with Coroutines, MVVM/MVI, and Compose.
• Git, CI, Google Play.
• REST APIs and Retrofit.
• Automated testing.
• Apply SOLID principles in practice to write modular, testable code.
• Working in a team, using agile methodologies, preferably with a large codebase.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.

Responsabilités

• Developing new features from designs and requirements across architecture, UI, tests, and production deployment.
• Developing internal tools and design system components.
• Maintaining and bug fixing when needed.
• Participating in code reviews, pair programming, release trains, and other rituals.
• Leading teams from time to time where needed.
• Following production deployments.
• Responding to production incidents within scope.
• Guiding less experienced developers and proposing architectural improvements.
• Joining feature teams and assisting with transversal tasks.
• Exploring new libraries and services and writing summaries to aid decision making.
• Improving automation tools, configuring CI pipelines, and keeping projects up to date.
