Mercor is building a panel of chemistry and chemical safety experts to red-team frontier AI models. You will craft prompts across benign, dual-use, and adversarial categories, then evaluate model responses against a policy standard.

The role requires clear written rationale for every judgment, with sample references and links. Strong background in hazardous compounds and validation methods is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in identifying hazardous compounds and detection limits.
• Ability to develop and validate methods for trace analysis.
• Proven skill in documenting rationales for non-specialists.

Responsabilités

• Write challenging prompts across benign, dual-use, and adversarial levels.
• Evaluate model responses against defined safety policies.
• Draft reference answers and technical reasoning for each case.
• Provide clear, written justifications suitable for non-experts.
