EURELITE is seeking a Control Rod Engineer to join its reactor development team in Paris, initially collaborating with Beijing-based engineers. You will design CRDMs, develop dynamic models, and integrate propulsion, electrical, and thermal interfaces for advanced modular reactor concepts, emphasizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in nuclear, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or control engineering.
• Experience with mechanical design, kinematic modeling, and dynamic simulation.
• Knowledge of reactivity control systems and safety-related components.
• Familiarity with nuclear reactor integration and safety analysis processes.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize CRDMs, reactor internals, and neutron absorber assemblies.
• Perform analysis of control rod structures, absorber materials, and actuation mechanisms under high-temperature, high-radiation environments.
• Support development of reactivity control and reactor shutdown systems for advanced reactors.
• Develop high-fidelity models for control rod motion and scram dynamics; analyze transient response.
• Collaborate with physics, I&C, vessel, materials, and safety teams to ensure integrated design.
• Prepare technical design packages, specifications, and safety analysis docs; support FAT/SAT testing.
