Pasqal seeks a highly autonomous scientist to join the Hardware department's Processing team in Massy. You will characterize and optimize neutral-atom QPU processing operations, support circuit-level execution, and collaborate with theory and experimental groups.

Strong Python data-analysis skills and hands-on quantum-control experience are essential; the role offers a CDI contract and international collaboration opportunities.

Qualificações

• PhD in AMO/quantum physics with experimental experience.
• Strong data analysis and programming skills, especially Python.
• Experience designing and debugging quantum control sequences.
• Ability to lead small projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Experimental characterization and optimization of processing operations.
• Design and run benchmarking experiments to quantify performance.
• Modeling and simulation to interpret results and guide optimization.
• Identify dominant error sources and drive mitigation actions.
• Circuit-level execution support and QEC protocol benchmarking.
• Document results and contribute to IP and external communications.
