ClearSpace in France is seeking a Head of AIV/AIT & Industrialisation to own the strategy and build the organisation, infrastructure, and test capabilities needed to move concepts to flight-ready spacecraft and scalable production. Reporting to the CTO, you will guide AIV/AIT across all programmes, collaborate with System Architecture, Production and Quality, and lead a world-class team while ensuring compliance with ECSS, EN9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; CEng is a plus.
• 10+ years in end-to-end AIV/AIT in space with leadership experience.
• Proven ramp-up of a space production line from prototype to series.
• Early AIV/AIT usage in development: low-TRL tests and breadboards.
• Strong knowledge of environmental test methods and ECSS/EN9100/ISO 9001.

Responsabilités

• Own AIV/AIT strategy and industrialisation roadmap across programmes.
• Translate verification requirements into integration and test strategies.
• Lead and develop the AIV/AIT team and establish governance.
• Oversee all spacecraft and payload assembly, integration, verification, and test campaigns.
• Drive DFMA, manufacturability analysis and readiness criteria.
• Manage environmental test campaigns and test facilities.
• Define make-or-buy strategy for test capabilities across programmes.
• Interface with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain; support planning and proposals.
