Prolific is seeking fluent Spanish speakers from Spain, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia to participate in a high-impact AI training initiative for our client, Hume. You’ll be paired with another participant for live video conversations to capture natural emotions and cultural sentiments, helping the model understand how humans communicate.

You will contribute to the dataset by engaging in authentic dialogue, focusing on the nuances of your Spanish dialect, slang, and regional expressions.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaker from Spain, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, or Colombia.
• Access to a MacBook or headphones for audio clarity.
• Available to commit to at least 5 hours of conversation per week.
• Stable internet connection and punctuality are mandatory.

Hourly Rate: $15

What you’ll be doing

• Live pairings: You will be matched with another participant for 1-on-1 conversational video calls.
• Emotional Authenticity: Engage in natural dialogue to help the AI model understand human feelings, intonations, and sentiment.
• Audio-Visual Contribution: Ensure high-quality data capture by using a MacBook or headphones in a quiet environment.
• Collaborative Learning: Help the AI understand the regional nuances, slang, and cultural contexts of your specific Spanish dialect through real-world interaction.

What you’ll bring

• Fluency in Spanish: You must be a fluent Spanish speaker from one of the specified regions (Spain, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, or Colombia).
• Technical Readiness: Access to a MacBook or headphones is mandatory for audio clarity.
• Availability: Ability to commit to at least 5 hours of conversation per week.
• Reliability: Since you are being paired with a live partner, punctuality and a stable internet connection are mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Comfort chatting on camera and the ability to maintain a natural, flowing conversation.
