Job summary
Micron Technology, Inc. invites self-motivated students to join our AI-Enabled Test Solutions Automation internship in our Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) department.
You will work on applying Python, Generative AI, LLMs and AI Assistants to streamline engineering workflows within semiconductor test environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop reusable automation components, and deliver proof-of-concept solutions while gaining hands-on experience in modern software development
Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree; STEM or engineering focuses are a plus.
- Experience with Python or other programming languages in academic, project, or internship settings.
- Interest in AI, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI Assistants applied to engineering workflows is desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop Python-based automation modules and AI-enabled tooling for engineering workflows.
- Explore and evaluate Generative AI, LLMs, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI technologies for engineering applications.
- Create reusable components, integrations, and analytics capabilities supporting broader automation initiatives.
- Present technical findings, document project outcomes, and propose future enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in a semiconductor technology environment.
