Alta Ares is seeking an experienced aerospace structural engineer to design and analyze composite airframe structures for interceptor platforms. You will perform hand calculations and FEA to justify margins under static and dynamic loads, and collaborate across teams to optimize weight and manufacturability.

You will lead laminate design, carbon fiber structures, and integration with aerodynamics, propulsion, and manufacturing teams to support rapid development and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years aerospace or aircraft structural engineering experience, preferably with UAV/drone platforms.
• Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) for static strength, stiffness, buckling and vibration modelling.
• Strong CAD capability with CATIA/SolidWorks/Autodesk and integration of components.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze primary/secondary composite structures of interceptor airframes (fuselage, wings, control surfaces).
• Define load paths, failure modes, and documentation for major structural elements.
• Own laminate design, layup schedules, and bonding/joining strategies for carbon fiber structures.
