Job summary

The Exploration Company in Bordeaux is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to lead installation, commissioning, and debugging of electrical systems for propulsion test benches. This hands-on role requires practical problem solving and proactive execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar (or years of equivalent professional experience as a substitute)
• 3+ years of experience in electrical system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience manufacturing wire harnesses or electro‑mechanical sub-assemblies
• Experience in high-reliability environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, and debugging of electrical systems for propulsion test benches
• Assemble and verify cabinets per electrical schematics
• Manufacture ground and flight harnesses
• Support design engineers to optimize harness layout and routing
• Troubleshoot signals and devices to resolve issues (DAQs, valve drivers, power supplies)
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineers to improve performance and safety
• Maintain records of installations, debugging, and maintenance
• Prepare technical reports and SOPs
