The Gund Company is seeking a Composites Operator II to join its production team. You will operate pultrusion, molding presses and shape machines to manufacture thermoset composite sheets and components, set up tooling, regulate speeds and temperatures, and perform in‑process inspections to ensure quality.

You will work under limited supervision, handle routine maintenance, keep a clean, safe workspace, and contribute to continuous improvements in efficiency and production planning while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, hands-on/vocational training preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience with mixing, batching or compounding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control and methods to maximize effective manufacturing.
• Ability to read work orders and determine materials, procedures, and settings.

Responsabilités

• Form molded sheets using various manufacturing equipment.
• Adjust machine speeds, pressures, temperatures, and dimensions.
• Monitor machine operations and detect malfunctions via lights and gauges.
• Review work orders to determine materials and settings for pultrusion and molding presses.
• Measure raw materials and die dimensions to verify sizes per work orders.
• Perform in-process inspection and maintain production data.
• Keep workspace clean and safe; follow safety and quality standards.
