IWG plc is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team in Paris. The role concentrates on managing supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, and processing timely payments in line with internal controls.

You will support month-end activities and supplier reconciliations, contributing to efficient accounting processes. Ideal candidates hold an accounting-related degree and have AP experience, with familiarity in Sage and VAT considerations.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Previous experience in an accounts payable or accounting role
• Experience with Sage or other accounting software is preferred
• Understanding of VAT regulations would be advantageous

Responsabilités

• Receive, review and record supplier invoices
• Verify invoice compliance against supporting documentation
• Perform supplier account reconciliation and monitor accounts payable balances
• Prepare and process supplier payments
• Manage and follow up on supplier disputes and queries
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile and justify supplier account balances
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes
